There is about 70% of the total population that live below poverty. In Mozambique lots of food and water diseases are very commen. The institutional problems continue to limit overall economic freedom and long term economic devolepment. The didease Malaria remains the op public health problem in Mozambique. The water nad poor sanitation in Mozambique continues to be a problem killing about  children a day. Since so many people live in rural areas they have to depend on wood. They use wood for cooking and heating of water for domestic use. If they keep on living in these rural areas they could cast a disaster spell on the trees.
